INTERNSHIPS
Conundrum Theatre Company is hiring two paid interns through the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture for our 2025-2026 season!
Our interns will gain hands-on experience helping us create accessible, high-quality theatre programing in our community!
This is a paid opportunity for undergraduate / community college students to gain transferable skills relevant to careers in the arts.
marketing and production internship
Support the successful planning, preparation, and execution of our 2025-2026 season of artistic programming!

Gain hands-on experience in various aspects of theater production, from behind-the-scenes technical production work, administrative tasks, and marketing our shows, educational programs, and more!
This position will work approximately 20-30 hours a week from June-January.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about musical theater with strong organizational and communication skills.
Seeking experience in technical theatre, design, event planning/management, ability to multitask and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Must be proficient in internet-research & the Google Suite of tools.
Applicants with any experience in Stage Management, Social Media/Marketing, Set Design/Construction, Theatrical lighting, or Audio-Visual technologies are a plus.

theatre arts education intern


Work with youth and adults to program various educational opportunities such as workshops, classes, and summer musical theater camps!

Applicants should have a passion for arts education and musical theater as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
Experience with teaching youth aged 6-12 is preferred.
Preferred but not required: Canva, social media, and Google suite experience.

This position will work approximately 30 hours a week from June through August with additional remote work responsibilities starting in September to complete your hours.

Recent graduates may apply as long as they have completed their degree between May 1 - Dec 1, 2025

Students who have already earned a BA, BS, or a higher degree are not eligible for the Los Angeles County Arts Internship Program.

Students who have previously participated in the program are not eligible to participate a second time.

Students must posses the legal right to work in the United States.

Students who are invited to participate in the program will be asked to provide verification of eligibility via college transcripts, driver’s license, and other documents to show enrollment status and/or LA County residence.

Includes peer group activities through the Department of Arts and Culture once/twice a month
